California’s Automation of Human Services Programs
CalSAWS is the case management system for county eligibility staff that provides CalWORKs, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, Foster Care, Refugee Assistance, County Medical Services Program, and General Assistance/General Relief to children, families, and individuals in all 58 California counties. It encompasses the following functions: eligibility determination, benefits calculation, benefits issuance, and information management.
The CalSAWS Project is dedicated to hosting excellent case management for eligibility workers to efficiently distribute benefits to participants.
