In support of the CalSAWS Legal Services RFP 01-2026 released on January 30, 2026, the Consortium posts the Bidder’s Conference presentation as reviewed with attendees on February 11, 2026.

This Procurement includes a formal Question and Answer (Q&A) period to provide Bidders the opportunity to submit questions, concerns, and suggestions regarding the contents of this RFP. Please refer to the RFP for detailed submission instructions. Submissions are due by March 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM. The Consortium will post responses to www.CalSAWS.org/Procurement on a flow basis.

CalSAWS LEGAL SERVICES RFP 01-2026
INITIAL RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT

January 30, 2026

To All Interested Vendors:

The CalSAWS Consortium announces the release of its Legal Services Request for Proposal (RFP) 01-2026 for your review and consideration.
This procurement solicits proposals from qualified contractors to perform Legal Services. The purpose of this procurement, and scope of this RFP, is to acquire a Contractor to transition the existing Legal Services and provide ongoing Legal Services for the CalSAWS Consortium. Bidder proposals are due Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The base contract term includes a one-month Transition-In period, plus six years for a total base term of six years and one month. The Legal Services Agreement may be extended up to four additional years in one-year increments at the discretion of the Consortium. The total contract term, if all extensions are exercised, would be ten years and one month. The base contract period is projected to begin February 1, 2027 and conclude February 28, 2033.
