Professional Experience

A native of Rocklin, Greg has spent most of his life and all of his career in Placer County. He started with the county in 1996 at the Children’s Receiving Home, and spent the first 11 years with the county in the Childrens System of Care, also working in the Court Unit. In 2007 he moved to Human Services, serving first as an Employment Services counselor, then supervisor, and finally Manager. He was promoted in 2018 to Division Assistant Director, and to Director in 2021. He serves as Executive Director of the Placer County Housing Authority and for the past six years he has served on the Golden Sierra Workforce Board’s Executive Committee.

Education

Greg has an Associate Degree from Sierra College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from The University of California, Berkeley.

Family

Greg has been married to his wife, Gina, for 18 years and has an adult daughter, Celeste, and two grandsons, Harlan and Everett.
